Menu on Every Message and Easier Channel Setup

Every Mavin notification now has a built-in menu, and setting up your Slack channel just got a lot simpler.

Why we built this

We kept seeing the same friction -- you'd get a signal in Slack, then have to leave the conversation to browse your signals, update target accounts, or check on your team. We also heard from teams that channel setup had too many steps. This release fixes both: everything you need lives right inside Slack, and getting started takes one click instead of several.

What changed

A menu on every message

Every notification from Mavin now includes a menu button. Tap it and a menu opens right inside Slack -- no new tabs, no context switching.

What this means for you:

  • Browse signals -- See all your active signals without leaving the conversation
  • Edit target accounts -- Update your target list directly from any Mavin message
  • Team status -- Check how your team is tracking at a glance
  • Export data -- Pull all your signal data whenever you need it

Easier channel setup

Adding Mavin to a channel is now simpler no matter how you do it. If you /invite @Mavin to any channel, we automatically configure it as your notification channel -- no extra steps required.

What this means for you:

  • One-click dedicated channel -- We suggest creating a mavin-signals channel by default, pre-filled and ready to go
  • Use an existing channel -- If you already have a channel in mind, that option is still there
  • Auto-configure on invite -- Just /invite @Mavin to a channel and it starts working immediately
