Smart Onboarding & Personalized Signal Filtering

Mavin now learns about your business during setup to surface the buyer intent signals that actually matter.

Why we built this

Not all LinkedIn activity is buying intent. A recruiter viewing your profile means something different than a VP of Sales at a target account doing the same thing. Until now, Mavin treated every signal the same and left it to you to sort through the noise. We needed the platform to understand your business well enough to do that filtering for you.

What changed

Personalized onboarding flow

When you first set up Mavin, you'll answer a few questions about your company, ideal customers, and sales priorities. The platform uses this context to automatically create filtering rules that determine which signals represent real buying intent — no manual configuration needed.

Five signal types tuned to your GTM strategy

Based on your onboarding answers, Mavin now detects and prioritizes five types of buyer intent signals:

  • Target Account signals — Research activity from companies on your target list
  • Target Persona signals — Interest from people matching your ideal buyer profile by title, seniority, and function
  • Hot Account alerts — Multiple signals from the same company in a short window, indicating active research
  • Buying Committee signals — Multiple people from the same company researching your team, suggesting a decision process is underway
  • Account Discovery — New companies matching your ideal customer profile that are showing research intent for the first time

Low-relevance filtering

Non-relevant signals are automatically sorted into a low-priority bucket. Your Slack notifications stay focused on genuine opportunities — the accounts that are already warm.
